Well after last week’s floods, and this week’s cold weather, we are all wondering if the spring will ever come to Brittany!
Walking around my garden today to plan any future work (pruning, weeding, etc) I noticed that my first daffodils were already blooming! It didn’t take me long to cut some to put in a vase. Their bright yellow color brightens up the kitchen nicely!
Daffodils are beautiful and easy to grow. Get a bag of bulbs in autumn, pop some bulbs in the ground and it will give you a grand show for many years. They don’t need any attention and will multiply easily.
Daffodils are usually a sign that spring has arrived so hopefully they are right this year again!
