Golfing in Brittany

Brittany is famous for to its wealth of golf courses both on the coast and inland. Several 9 and 18 hole golf courses can be found within 20-30 minutes drive from our gite in Evran.

They are just waiting to challenge your skills. You could even try a different one gold course each day!

Canoe and Kayak hire from St Domineuc


To discover the beautiful River Rance, hire a canoe or a kayak! St Domineuc has picnic area along the canal and a play ground for children.

St Domineuc is only 15 min from our gite.

Canoes and Kayak hire from Dinan port


You can hire canoes and kayaks from Dinan port everyday in July and August from 10am to 5pm.

It is a great way to discover the Rance river!

Enigmaparc in Janze near Rennes

Not just for children, this park is for the whole family!

You will be entertained for 3 to 4 hours. It is best to book as they have limited spaces! If you are staying in our gite in Evran, I will be happy to book it for you.

This is a perfect entertainment on a rainy day as it is covered. It is open from 10 am to 7pm in the summer and during school holiday.

Check their web site for more information. It will take you about 45 to 60 min to get there from our gite. Janzé is south of Rennes.

Saint Malo Maze

Saint Malo Maze (Labyrinthe du Corsaire) is one of the biggest in Europe. It is open from 11 am to 7pm in July and August. It is shut the rest of the year.

Many activities are offered as well as games, bouncy castles, etc. Snacks are served on site.

Sea kayaking along the Emerald coast


Sea kayaking is a great way to discover the beautiful Emerald coast. Single or double kayaks can be hired from Dinard. See this web site for more information.

There are plenty of things to do in Dinard for the other members of the family not keen to try this sport:

Sunbathing or making sand castles on the beautiful sandy beaches, visiting park and garden, enjoying a pony ride, visiting art galleries, or just relaxing on a terrace overlooking the beach!

Dinard is about 40 min from our gite.


Heated indoor pool in Dinard

The indoor pool in Dinard is a sea water pool. There is a paddling pool for small children, a jacuzzi and 2 saunas.

It is also open weekends and bank holidays.

You will find the swimming pool near the casino, Digue de L’Ecluse, Dinard, tel. 02 99 46 22 77.

Dinard is about 40 minutes from our gite.

Diving in the sea



Diving is available everyday by any weather from “St Malo Plongée Emeraude”!

You can learn to dive in the pool or for the bravest in the sea. It is a great way to discover St Malo bay!

The diving club is near the ferry terminal in St Malo, near the pool (piscine du Naye).
About 40 minutes from our gite.

Kayak hire in St Malo

For sea kayaking, visit 2 sites in St Malo: Bon Secours and Rothéneuf. They have single and double kayaks.

From €12 per hour.

Windsurfs and catamarans are also available to hire. Lesson can be arranged.

Karting near Saint Malo


St Malo karting is located in Saint Méloir des Ondes, near St Malo.

It is open every day in July and August from 10 am to 8pm.

Weekend and bank holiday during the rest of the year.

Children can join too from the age of 5!

Perfect for rainy (and sunny) days, Royal Kart is in a covered area.
Children can also have a go from the age of 7.

The ones not keen to try karting can shop! Smaller children can visit Woupi.

Saint Malo Petit Train


--> A great way to visit St Malo!
Le Petit Train will take you through the center of the fortified city of Saint-Malo. You will discover St Malo's bay, ramparts and the homes and birthplaces of famous people such as Jacques Cartier, Chateaubriand, and the corsair Surcouf, just to name a few.
Departure from Saint Vincent's Gate next to the castle.
Journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
