How to set up a direct debit to pay your taxes in France.

In order to set up a direct debit to pay your taxes in France, please following this link here

Under the heading ‘prélèvement automatique’,
Click on ‘adhérer au prélèvement mensuel’.
Choose what tax you wish to pay :
Impôts sur le revenue (Income tax), Taxe foncière, Taxe d’habitation, Cotisation foncière des entreprises.

(It seems that you have to do one tax at the time).

Entre the tax reference number ‘Référence de l'avis’.  You will find this number on your last tax.
Enter your bank details. (It has to be a French bank account).
And enter your email address twice.
If you want to know the amount you will be paying each month, click on ‘Calculer votre échéancier’
Click on ‘confirmer’.

You will get an email from the tax office to confirm this direct debit.

You can also visit your nearest 'Trésor Public' and set up the direct debits there.
